Pride and Passion is a boutique Sydney builder founded in 2013. We take on a limited number of projects each year, led personally by director Darren Hall, and held to a standard we never compromise on.
Our Story
Darren Hall grew up on the mid north coast and moved to Sydney without a plan. A carpentry apprenticeship changed that.
From his first day on site he found something he was genuinely good at, and the kind of environment that demanded everything he had. He gave it willingly.
Shortly after completing his apprenticeship, he was diagnosed with stage four cancer. The eighteen months that followed were the hardest of his life. But surviving them gave him something most people never find so early: an absolute certainty about what matters and what does not. Time became precious. Standards became non-negotiable. The work became personal in a way it stays to this day.
He founded Pride and Passion in 2013 and has held it to the same standard ever since. Award-winning, nationally recognised, and still built entirely around one person's conviction that the work should outlast all of us.
